Text Messaging lets you send short, text-based messages to any 10-digit wireless number, landline number or e-mail address. You can also use it to send "short codes" - typically a series of numbers or letters - to find info, enter contests and play trivia games. Plus, you can sign up to receive text alerts so you'll automatically receive the latest news, weather, sports and more.

Texting can be used to communicate in many different ways — even internationally.

For international Text Messaging, your "to" telephone number must use the following format: 011 + Country Code + City Code + Telephone Number.

How to Text

1. Select Text Messaging on the phone's main menu.	2. Type your message.	3. Enter the 10-digit wireless number and hit send.
