Alltel’s Chad teams up with Santa to ‘rock’ the holidays

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - On-going efforts to prevent Chad and Alltel Wireless from bringing holiday cheer to customers isn’t enough for the four “Sales Guys.” Now they are trying to ruin Christmas for good boys and girls everywhere this holiday season by stealing Alltel’s MOTOROKR Z6m just as a new $79.99 offer comes down the chimney.
The “Sales Guys” latest adventures are featured in the second of a series of three Alltel holiday television spots. The new spot, titled “Almost Didn’t Rock,” debuts today on more than 20 networks including VH1, ABC Family, Bravo and CMT. Alltel’s first stop-motion animation ad, featuring a free MOTORAZRTM V3a when buying one for $19.99, debuted last week.
Sure to be a popular item under the tree, the hot new MOTOROKR Z6m from Alltel is $79.99 with 50 free song downloads available with the purchase of an accessory kit for $29.99. The accessory kit, designed for the music lover on the go, includes a stereo headset, 2GB memory card and a music cell for three months free. The phone offer is available to new customers who sign a two-year service agreement and to eligible existing customers on qualifying rate plans, until January 12, 2008.

The MOTOROKR Z6m comes pre-loaded with Celltop, Alltel’s exclusive award-winning technology, which offers customers an easier way to access, manage and organize a wide range of information already available on their phones. This phone is geared for the music lovers and includes a music cell that allows customers to move and stream non-DRM protected music from their computers to their phones wirelessly. Also available is an XM Radio Mobile cell with a free seven day trial period.
In addition, an integrated MP3 player with up to 2GB of optional removable memory, a 3.5 mm headset jack, stereo Bluetooth connectivity and USB 2.0 high speed connectivity for fast file transfers puts the MOTOROKR Z6m at the top of everyone’s holiday wish list.
Alltel has also debuted a third television ad called, “Best Holiday,” featuring the animated “Sales Guys” in another futile attempt to thwart Santa and ruin Christmas. This spot highlights both the $79.99 MOTOROKR Z6m and the free MOTORAZR V3a when shoppers buy one for $19.99 offers.
