The Alltel network is comprised of more than 9,300 fiber optic route miles connecting to approximately 100 points of presence (POPs) in key regional locations. We're aggressively expanding to create an even more robust network through the deployment of dense wave division multiplexing (DWDM), giving our customers immediate benefits of the latest technology.

A fault-tolerant infrastructure, designed for added reliability through our survivable ring architecture, intelligently connects our network for exceptional performance. Our service standards are also supported by a state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC). Our NOC operates under a customer-focused philosophy providing 24-hour service, 365 days a year.
