Alltel encourages educational growth and development of its employees and customers by supporting education-related organizations like Junior Achievement that educate and inspire youth. Alltel also participates in Partners in Education programs with elementary and junior high schools in our service areas.

Arts and Culture

Alltel supports organizations that enhance communities through performing arts and cultural programs.

Emergency and Disaster Relief

During times of emergency and disaster relief, Alltel provides financial and telecommunications support to local American Red Cross chapters, recovery teams and municipalities to help rebuild their communities.

EcoSmart

Alltel encourages customers to take advantage of the EcoSmart program by recycling their used wireless handsets in specially marked drop boxes at more than 500 Alltel stores. It is our goal to remove nearly 1 million pounds of electronic waste from landfills each year.
