January 25: Atlantic Tele-Network Enters into $300 Million Credit Facility and Provides Update on its Pending Acquisition of Alltel Assets
SALEM, Mass., Jan 25, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATNI) today reported that it hasamended and restated its existing senior secured credit facility, providing for the addition of a new $150 million term loan to beused to fund the Company's previously announced pending acquisition of former Alltel Corporation assets from VerizonWireless. The amended and restated credit facility also includes a $73.9 million term loan, which is the amount of the term loanoutstanding under the Company's previous credit facility and a $75 million revolving loan, which was also available under itsprevious credit facility. CoBank, ACB acted as administrative agent and lead arranger in the transaction.

December 15: Allied Wireless Communications Corp. to locate corporate headquarters in Little Rock
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Dec. 15, 2009 – Allied Wireless Communications Corporation (AWCC), a subsidiary of Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATNI), today announced plans to locate its corporate headquarters in Little Rock. Atlantic Tele-Network, a telecommunications/wireless company, will invest more than $200 million through the purchase of existing wireless assets from Verizon Wireless and the refurbishment of new headquarters for AWCC on Technology Drive. AWCC currently plans to create at least 200-250 jobs in Little Rock, most of which will be highly paid, professional and technical positions.

Salem, Mass., Sep 30, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Atlantic Tele-Network, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATNI) announced today that Frank O'Mara, a former Executive Vice President of Alltel Communications, Inc. ("Alltel"), has joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer of its newly-formed subsidiary, Atlantic Wireless Communications Corporation. O'Mara's duties as CEO will include leading the transition and operation of certain former Alltel wireless properties, licenses and network assets that ATN contracted to acquire from Verizon Wireless on June 9, 2009. As CEO, O'Mara will lead the company in providing wireless service to approximately 800,000 subscribers in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio and Idaho.

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of VerizonCommunications (NYSE: VZ) and Vodafone (NYSE LSE: VOD), announced todayit has completed its purchase of Alltel Corporation from AtlantisHoldings LLC.  Consistent with the terms of the transaction announcedon June 5, 2008, Verizon Wireless paid approximately $5.9 billion forthe equity of Alltel.  Immediately prior to the closing, the Allteldebt associated with the transaction, net of cash, was approximately$22.2 billion.
