New Name for Mr. Rescue

Between June and Tuesday, July 1, 2008, Mr. Rescue will be renamed Alltel Roadside Assistance. Customers will see this change take place gradually during the month of June in various collateral pieces. The name change will officially take effect on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.

Alltel Roadside Assistance will be the same product as Mr. Rescue and customers will not experience any changes.

Customers who subscribe to Alltel Roadside Assistance get access to roadside assistance anytime, anywhere in the U.S. For only $3 per month ($2 per month for Alltel employees) Customers have immediate contact with a reliable dispatch service in the event of an emergency by simply dialing #TOW. Customers also get Alltel Roadside Assistance free for the first 30 days. Alltel Roadside Assistance will continue to offer the following services:

  • Locksmith
  • Tire Repair
  • Gas
  • Jump-Start
  • Towing
  • Winching
Alltel Roadside Assistance follows the Customer’s wireless handset. This means that Alltel Roadside Assistance can help the Customer whether they are in their own car or in somebody else’s car.
