Alltel has improved your Wireless Internet Service, giving you the ability to surf the Web up to five times faster. To begin experiencing the new speed on the Alltel network, current users of Alltel Internet Accelerator should uninstall this software by September 2, 2008.

To uninstall Alltel Internet Accelerator, simply complete the following steps:

  1. Right-click on the Alltel Internet Accelerator icon   in the system tray and deselect Enable Optimization. This will disable the internet accelerator and the checkmark should disappear.



  2. Right-click on the Alltel Internet Accelerator icon again and select Exit. The Alltel Internet Accelerator icon should no longer appear in the Windows tray.



  3. Click the Start menu, select Programs, then select ALLTEL, and click Uninstall.
  4. Select Yes when the on-screen prompts appear.
  5. Click Finish when the InstallShield Wizard is displayed.
