What should I do if I have insurance and my phone is not working?
If your phone is enrolled in the ProductGuard or PlatinumGuardinsurance programs and experience an equipment loss, you can file areplacement request with Asurion Insurance Services within 30 days ofthe incident.

What will I need to submit a replacement request?
If you subscribe to the ProductGuard or PlatinumGuard program and areexperiencing a problem with your phone, you can submit a replacementrequest within 30 days of the incident.

When you call, please have the following information available:

  • Your wireless number, billing name and address. (You must be an authorized user on the account.)
  • The type of equipment
  • The date of the incident
  • A credit card to cover the non-refundable deductible
Onceyou have this information, call Asurion at 1-888-723-3360 to file yourreplacement request. Please note that insurance claims must besubmitted within 30 days of the incident. In addition, be sure to callAlltel at 1-800-Alltel1 and temporarily suspend your service to avoidunnecessary charges to your account.
