Traveling overseas? With International Roaming from Alltel you can make calls and stay connected with e-mail and Internet right from your BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone.

To purchase a SIM card for your BlackBerry 8830:

Call 1-800-alltel-1 (1-800-255-8351), or come into one of our retail locations and order a SIM card before you leave the country for your next trip.  The SIM card will be shipped directly to you and must be activated before leaving the country.

To activate your SIM card:

Once you receive your SIM card, please visit http://www.alltelsimcard.com/ and follow the on screen instructions.  You will need your mobile phone number, SIM card and BlackBerry 8830 handset to complete the activation process.

Did you purchase your BlackBerry 8830 prior to April 11, 2008? If yes, visit our SIM card information page. If you are not sure about your handset type, you can check the version by removing the battery and looking for a sticker labeled "international Roaming." If this sticker is missing, your BlackBerry 8830 was purchased before April 11, 2008.
